Like we don't already download enough stuff for masturbating ourselves over...
NickDahlmier - February 15, 2016, 9:27 pm
Maybe they could do a lost-foam mold for casting parts from, like how the industry has done for years now.
mizzdizz - October 17, 2015, 7:35 pm
I would TOTALLY download new body parts for my beast, especially the #@$&ing nose piece that's always scraping on really tall speedbumps and really deep gutters! Yup! I'm waitin! 5L!
Alienraptor - October 13, 2015, 12:05 pm

Just watch the youtube 'elders react to 3d printers' thing. It's basically something that makes plastic parts out of glorified silly string. And that toy plastic hammer took a long time and was expensive for them to make too.
nobodyofdistinction - September 30, 2015, 9:35 am
I don't believe for a moment that you could have a working engine made from a 3d printer. 3d printers are cute, but ultimately mostly useless. You're not going to get ANY metal parts with the usual ones and even then they're not going to be machined well.
pzykosiz - September 29, 2015, 4:33 am
I totally would download a car. screw you anti piracy

This is really interesting, yet slightly humorous on some level.

No, most of the people who belong in '99% money' clas already have it in Gold and Diamonds. No issues there.
motifayk - July 9, 2013, 1:42 pm
Most probably. The real issue is that once US looses trade leadership in technology and manufacturing exports; which China is steadily conquering, all the democratic world will definitely be in peril. They won't have trade advantage.
thecrotchetyoldcynic - July 8, 2013, 4:39 pm
Similar to the United Nations symbol?
thecrotchetyoldcynic - July 8, 2013, 4:38 pm
Highly likely.
curlyrocks - July 8, 2013, 3:51 pm
The people who have 99% of the money now take 99% of the money they print, for I don't know money fights and felling like a big man I guess. And yes if we switched to a gold standard they would just take 99% of the gold.
motifayk - July 8, 2013, 12:41 pm
In 2008 China strongly encouraged Renminbi (chinese currency) in the international market and tried making it the reserve currency. Now they will most probably push for internationally standardized trade bonds/currency with world map or some such on it.
Silverheart - July 7, 2013, 11:53 pm

Doctor Who, Spider-Man, Goku, Dracula and Metallica for starters
thecrotchetyoldcynic - July 7, 2013, 10:49 pm
Global currency? Interesting. I wonder what they'd print on it.
motifayk - July 7, 2013, 9:13 pm
US treasury cannot print forever and certainly not nearly enough to feed the world ten times let alone thousand. China is already making moves to create a global currency which would take out dollar as the reserve currency. Then US can't print at whim.
